Fruit Salsa, baby!

I know what you’re thinking: “I’m not an idiot, Stacey. I know how to make a fruit salad.” And I’m 100% sure this is true, HOWEVER sometimes the simplest things slip our minds and we forget about them. We think desserts have to be elaborate and covered in icing or baked for them to be real desserts but I’m here to tell you that a delicious bowl full of ripe, juicy fruit is an absolutely acceptable dessert. And if you throw on a dollop of the Strawberry Dream Dip from You’ll Eat It & You’ll Like It on top? Well, you’ve just fucking unlevelled your life, my friend. They will talk about you for years to come. Sonnets will be written about you. Songs will be sung to your children’s children about how magnificent you were!

WHAT GOES IN IT

1 apple of choice, diced

2 cups of strawberries, diced

1 cups of blueberries

2 kiwis, peeled and diced

1 mango, peeled and diced

DRESSING

2 tbsp of preserve of choice, I’m into strawberry

1/4 cup of orange juice

Juice of half a lemon, about 2-3 tbsp

HOW YOU MAKE IT

Take all that delicious diced fruit and plop it in a big-ass bowl. Give it a stir so it looks like a rainbow threw up in there.

In a separate bowl, combine the ingredients for the dressing and mix until the preserve has liquified. Pour the dressing over the bowl of fruit and mix well.

Eat this all by itself, beside ice cream, with yogurt, on top of pancakes- you do you, boo! Enjoy!
